VisionNav showcased a full-stack logistics automation products and solution at KoreaMAT2023 - from collaborative and automated guided forklifts (AGFs), to artificial intelligent enabled robot control system (RCS). VisionNav develops robotic innovations tailored to meet the dynamic distribution requirements of consumer product companies across various application scenarios where products need to be packed, moved, and delivered. Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) technology has gained significant popularity and adoption across various industries worldwide. The South Korean government, along with industry stakeholders, continues to promote the adoption of AGV technology through research and development initiatives and collaborations in the quest for enhanced efficiency in various sectors.

VisionNav excels in autonomous logistics operations within complex scenarios. At the KoreaMAT 2023, VisionNav presented the DEMO of high-rise warehousing, docking conveyor, plane transferring, and container truck loading and unloading with VNR 16, VNO10, VNP15, and VNE20 autonomous forklifts.

  • High-rise Warehousing

Autonomous forklifts are particularly useful in high-rise warehousing environments where space is limited and vertical storage is required. Equipped with visual+3D laser navigation technology, they can safely maneuver through the aisles, locate and pick up pallets, and transport them to the designated locations for storage or retrieval.

  • Docking Conveyor

In scenarios where a conveyor system is integrated with loading or unloading docks, autonomous forklifts play a crucial role in streamlining the process. By integrating with the conveyor system, they enable seamless material flow, minimize manual labor, and improve overall productivity in warehouse operations.

  • Plane Transferring

Autonomous forklifts are highly efficient in transferring goods among racks within a warehouse. Using their navigation capabilities, they can identify the precise locations of the racks and autonomously move between them to retrieve or deposit pallets. With advanced features like collision avoidance and path planning algorithms, the forklifts can operate safely and efficiently, optimizing the material handling process within the warehouse.

  • Container Truck Loading and Unloading

Loading and unloading containers in logistics yards or ports can be a time-consuming and labor-intensive task. Autonomous forklifts can significantly streamline this process. Equipped with advanced vision systems, they can identify pallets or goods inside the containers, retrieve them, and transport them to the designated locations within the yard or warehouse. Autonomous forklifts can operate in a coordinated manner, efficiently loading or unloading multiple containers simultaneously, thereby improving the speed and efficiency of the process while reducing the reliance on manual labor.
