Oct 28, 2022, Kyoto-IROS 2022, themed ‘Embodied AI for a Symbiotic Society,' lowers the curtain at the Kyoto International Convention Center, Japan. As the top conference in the field of intelligent robots and automation, IROS 2022 brings an international community of researchers and robotics to explore the frontier of science and technology in intelligent robots and systems, as well as provides an opportunity for industry experts to discuss the latest advancements in this fast-growing field. VisionNav Robotics, a global supplier of autonomous industrial vehicles and intralogistics automation solutions, is honored to participate in this international event as the Platinum Sponsor of the IROS 2022.
In recent decades, with the rapid development of intelligent robot technology, service robots, agricultural robots, industrial robots, commercial robots, etc., to some extent, can free human beings from heavy work. What’s the next? What impact will the continuous development of robotics technology have on human labor and the social economy - how should we set up the rules thus to keep the balance between human-robot collaboration? The development of robotics technology is not only an issue that many scholars and experts pay close attention to but also a problem many robot companies want to figure out. VisionNav Robotics has been paying attention to the cutting-edge innovative research results of robotics and automation technology. It uses technology to empower enterprise internal logistics automation through continuous exploration and tackling. As the platinum sponsor of this IROS 2022 event, VisionNav Robotics joins hands with excellent business partners to lead the innovation and practice of logistics robots via this conference to benefit more workers locally and globally.
During IROS 2022, Kiki Ren, GM of VisionNav Japan, delivered a speech on "Technology Empowers Intralogistics Automation" at the Forum, sharing the latest research and development progress and applications of VisionNav's industrial autonomous vehicles. "VisionNav Robotics has always insisted on technological innovation. We always prioritize the development of robot technology, hoping to use leading technology to empower advanced manufacturing and promote the transformation of smart logistics in light of the closer relationship between robotics and humans. We also hope to contribute to improving people's future lives through technology and innovation." Ren said.
VisionNav has developed and produced nine series of autonomous forklifts to meet operations like plane transfer, high-level access, autonomous loading and unloading, and outdoor traction; launched the latest 3D laser SLAM positioning solution, suitable for high-precision positioning in indoor and outdoor environments; breaking through the restrictions on autonomous forklifts in scenarios such as slopes, boarding bridges, and dense line warehouses. In terms of "software," the RCS 2.0 system has been newly upgraded to achieve compatible scheduling of multiple models in different scenarios, including AGV and AMR, reducing the operating costs for enterprises to a large extent.
To create more communication opportunities, VisionNav Robotics sets up a booth (Booth #41) in the Event Hall of the IROS 2022 conference to communicate face-to-face with scholars, enterprises, and friends in the field of robotics from all over the world. "We are happy to work with so many experts and business partners. It helps us to promote the technology in our robots. IROS 2022 provides an opportunity for understanding the needs of global enterprises in terms of logistics robotics projects, which is beneficial for us." the overseas application engineers of VisionNav Robotics talked about their feelings at this conference.
