Project Overview

This project involves a publicly listed company specializing in biomedical repair materials within the medical aesthetics manufacturing sector, with a site that includes inbound and outbound docking stations as well as cold storage zones.

Equipment employment:

  • Standard plastic wheel-open pallets (1000x1200x150mm, <500kg).

  • VisionNav Robotics' VNSL14 Autonomous Pallet Stacker.

  • E10 Autonomous Pallet Jack.

Systems Integration:

  • RCS (Robot Control System) integrated with the existing WMS (Warehouse Management System).

Process Workflow

  • Inbound Process: When the first-floor inbound docking station receives materials, the customer's WMS system immediately sends an inbound instruction to the RCS, which dispatches the VNSL14 Autonomous Pallet Stacker to the docking station to pick up the goods and transport them to the storage area . Once the VNSL14 Autonomous Pallet Stacker completes the task, it updates the inventory information through the RCS.

  • Outbound Process: When materials are needed in the replenishment area, the customer's WMS system issues an outbound instruction to the RCS. The VNSL14 Autonomous Pallet Stacker is then dispatched to the cold storage area to retrieve the materials and transport them to the outbound docking station. After manually removing the required materials from the pallet, the remaining materials are returned to the storage area by the VNSL14 Autonomous Pallet Stacker, and inventory information is updated accordingly.

  • During the inbound and outbound processes, the VNSL14 Autonomous Pallet Stacker needs to pass through automatic warehouse doors. The RCS seamlessly integrates with the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), allowing the VNSL14 to operate the rolling doors without interruption.

Project Benefits

Increased Efficiency: VNSL14 operates 24/7, enhancing material transportation efficiency.

Cost Reduction: Reduced dependence on manual labor lowers operational costs and management complexities.

Enhanced Safety: VNSL14 is equipped with advanced safety features, including high-level protection during door operations, preventing accidents and ensuring safety for both personnel and goods.

By integrating VisionNav Robotics' autonomous solutions and advanced management systems, this project demonstrates significant improvements in efficiency, cost, and safety within the medical aesthetics manufacturing sector.
